Founding partner terms
Version 2026-10-draft-v5
1. What applying means
Submitting a founding-partner application is an expression of interest. It does not create a partnership, obligate you to honor any offer, or obligate Be Well Passport to list you. Every application is reviewed by a person, and nothing is published without your confirmation.
2. The Passport experience you propose
If approved, the experience and benefit you describe becomes the basis for a written offer we will confirm with you before the Passport goes on sale. You may set capacity limits, blackout dates, and booking requirements. You agree to honor confirmed offers for Passport holders during the Passport's active period. Your Passport offer should be meaningfully exclusive to Be Well Passport — not simply identical to a standard public promotion you already run on your website, social media, or a deal site. You're free to keep running your other promotions; the Passport version just needs to give holders something meaningfully better or different.
3. Concierge referrals
If you opt in to concierge participation, we may refer individual clients to you. You are free to decline any referral. You are responsible for your own scheduling, pricing, and service delivery.
4. Your representations
You confirm that the information provided in your application is accurate and that you maintain any licenses, certifications, and liability insurance required by applicable law for the services you provide.
Be Well Passport may request supporting documentation or require additional insurance coverage based on the nature of your services before approving or publishing your listing or Passport offer.
You agree to notify Be Well Passport if your insurance status, licensing, or other material application information changes during your participation.
5. Independence
You remain an independent business. Be Well Passport is a discovery and referral platform, not a provider of wellness services, and is not responsible for the services you deliver.
6. Curation and removal
Be Well Passport is curated and experience-led: every offer should give a Passport holder something they can actually experience, use, or attend, with real standalone value. We reserve the right to reject or remove any application, partner, or offer that is primarily a sales funnel or discovery-call pitch; an MLM or direct-sales recruitment activity; a product-only promotion without meaningful experiential value; built on deceptive or questionable health or medical claims; does not provide the advertised value; cannot reasonably be redeemed; creates misleading expectations; or is otherwise inconsistent with this curation standard.
7. Regulated and clinical providers
If you are a licensed or clinical provider, participating in Be Well Passport does not mean Be Well Passport certifies, endorses, or vouches for the efficacy of your treatments or services. You remain solely responsible for meeting every legal, licensing, and compliance requirement applicable to your practice. Be Well Passport is not a medical certifying body.
8. What we ask of partners
Once you're approved:
- Honor your Passport offer while it's live (Passport experience partners). Honor your confirmed offer as written, within the limits, capacity and blackout dates agreed with you.
- Check Passport holders in (Passport experience partners). When a holder uses your offer, your staff check them in from your business dashboard by scanning the holder's Passport QR code or entering their Passport code.
- Show you're part of Be Well Passport (encouraged). Where practical, if guests visit you in person, display the Be Well Passport signage you can download from Promote Your Partnership in your Partner Dashboard.
- Link to Be Well Passport (optional). A simple “Find us on Be Well Passport” link on your website helps visitors discover local businesses — yours included.
Distribution Partners without a consumer offer have no Passport offer to honor or check holders in for, so those two points don't apply to them. These points summarize the Partner Agreement you'll be asked to sign before going live and don't add to it; if they ever differ, the Partner Agreement governs.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the Passport program develops. Approved partners will receive the final partner agreement before any offer is published.
