Created by Be Well Asheville, Asheville’s local wellness community. The reviews below are Google reviews of Be Well Asheville; Passport reviews arrive after the first season.
Be Well Passport was created by Travis Richardson, founder of Be Well Asheville, as part of a broader effort to strengthen Asheville's wellness community and help local businesses, practitioners, and experience providers connect with more people. That broader ecosystem includes Be Well Asheville, the Be Well Asheville Collective, Basecamp Accelerator, and Retreat Leaders Network.
Asheville's wellness community has been through a lot. After Hurricane Helene, many local businesses have been working to rebuild momentum, while winter has traditionally been a slower season for tourism, appointments, and local foot traffic. Be Well Passport was created to help generate more demand during those slower months, introduce people to businesses and practitioners they may not have discovered otherwise, and give both locals and visitors more reasons to experience Asheville wellness.
Be Well Passport is for both Asheville locals and visitors. You can explore the participating wellness experiences now, and during the Passport season, Passport holders enjoy participating businesses' Passport offers and collect stamps for eligible experiences. Locals get a curated reason to explore more of Asheville's wellness community, while visitors get an easier way to discover trusted places, practitioners, classes, experiences, food, hospitality, retreats, and more.
Yes. Every Asheville Winter Passport includes a printed Passport booklet at no extra cost. Your digital Passport is on your account the moment you buy. Booklet pickup begins December 1, 2026, at Asheville Yoga Center. Address: 211 S Liberty Street, Asheville, NC 28801. Please visit the front desk at Asheville Yoga Center to collect your printed Be Well Passport booklet. Bring your phone: staff link your booklet to the Passport code in My Passport. Booklets are pickup only; we don't ship them. We'll share pickup hours before December 1, 2026.
You earn a stamp for each eligible Passport experience, and your stamps add up to milestones. This season's milestones are Trailhead (3 stamps), Explorer (5 stamps) and Wayfinder (10 stamps). Lifetime achievements, Trailblazer (15 stamps) and Well-Traveled (25 stamps), keep growing season after season. You can follow your progress in My Stamps.
Be Well Passport is experience-led and curated. The goal is not to collect random discounts. Participating partners are selected, and offers are designed to give Passport holders something meaningful they can actually experience — such as classes, session credits, complimentary experiences, add-ons, multi-visit offers, special access, and Passport-only experiences. Passport perks are curated and often exclusive — designed to give holders something they wouldn't normally find through the business's standard public promotions.
The Collective helps create, test, support, and grow projects designed to strengthen Asheville's wellness economy. Be Well Passport is one example of that work — creating new ways for local wellness businesses and practitioners to reach customers, collaborate, and generate demand. We're also continuing to explore additional incentives and benefits specifically for Collective members as Be Well Passport develops.
Yes. Be Well Passport is a national wellness experience platform, and Asheville, North Carolina is the launch city. You can explore Asheville's participating wellness experiences now. We're exploring other wellness destinations; each Passport covers only the destinations it lists, and new destinations are never added to a Passport automatically.
After Asheville, we're preparing our next destinations. Timing may change, and more destinations will be added as the partner network grows.
We’re actively exploring future cities and local launch partners. If you’re interested in bringing Be Well Passport to your community, email hello@bewellpassport.com and tell us about your city and how you’d like to be involved.
